Well that's not quite fair. I read a combination of Pratchett and Heinlein when in Cambridge it seems. That's what I'll be looking for in Borders tomorrow if there are any left, I've only got 3. I've already got most of Asimov.

Of course. I've read relatively little Pratchett myself this term. No Asimov, though; mainly because I stopped reading Foundation either one or two books from the end, and cannot remember, as much as I try, which one it was that I last read .

Yes, I read half of them, gave it a break for 3 or 4 years, read the other half, read the prequel, decided to read the first half and then got halff way through that before forgetting about it.
I had intended to sleep until 8:30AM. But then the construction workers next door decided to start work at 8 with some light hammering. And now there's drilling as well. Grrr. Maybe I should apply to have my room downgraded...
Hmmm, quite a lack of sleep due to the fact that I have this supervision in about an hour. Afterwards, I'm going to try and write my essay for as long as I can, then go to bed at some point to catch up on the sleep I missed last night. The aim of finishing this essay today is not going to occur  Never mind!

Are you coming to the curry meet?

Can't sorry. I'll be away by then. Next term I'll get myself to a TSR meet.
My presentation went quite well  I had prepared the slides but hadn't actually thought about what I was going to say, so it was all on the fly. It was fine until the conclusions, which I had to read straight off the slide, which I hate doing, because I couldn't remember them.

The last presentation I did didn't have any words on the slides whatsoever :p:

That's a shame Stratocaster, but  Hopefully we'll meet sometime.

Today is going to be a **** day, I just know it work is so not happening!!! And I've slept funny so my neck hearts and I'm playing rugby later, oh man sad times. I don't know weather to go and watch the U21As today or not, it's my best friends essay day so that means she probably can't come, so that probably means no as I don't want to go if no one else from the club is coming. And I really should do some work today but cos my supervision partner is even more behind than me she's pushed another essay into the holiday, I now have 2 to read for and write and 2 to re-write (which also means re-reading actually).

This term has just been a bit blah, it's kinda like 1st term last year all over again with finding my feet and everything, but the thing is the work is harder, and I never thought I was that bad at reading as I appear to be. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh life oh man, must work harder, although how I don't know as next term is varsity term so I have to be at rugby as much as possible.

And my phone is broken and JCR stuff has blone up in my face and people keep REALLY pissing me off and OH MAN. SO so so so much work to do over the holidays.

Wow that was a rant and a half, feel free to not read that. :o:

I stupidly thought it didn't look too cold outside, so went out in just a hoodie (plus t-shirt and trousers and stuff, obvs ). My mistake - after the five minute cycle to my supervision, I could no longer feel my fingers.

Ok then it isn't my computer thermometer being weird. I'll be sure to dress appropriately.

Your Seldon plan failed, then.

It was not a good idea to go cycling; I am still unwell, my blood circulation has failed.
I just had a chat with my bedder, who is massively more in touch with the outside world than I am. Today is freezing, as I discovered from a visit to sidg, whcih I'm about to repeat, but they're expecting snow tomorrow possibly, and Wales had snow today. Ho hum.

:five: awesome reference! Gotta love the Asimov- still need to read most of the foundation series though...

Just had my first advent calender chocolate and was singing carols on the way back from my lab today so in a very christmassy mood :woo:
brrr

Its like the weather decided 'its December. i'm going to show them what December should feel like!'

Indeed. :yep: It's worth reading the rest of Foundation, although it does get a bit weird after the first few books.
