TWW, any idea who I would speak to about giving bioanth supervisions? I reckon I'd be quite good at making genetics relevant to anthropologists, and I know more anthropology and archaeology than the average geneticist Is there a course secretary I'd speak to, or is it just a case of emailing DoSes...?
I would email the Bio Anth fellow at your college if you have one, otherwise the head of dept Rob Foley, or [email protected] or just go up to them at LCHES on Fitz street and ask (or all of the above). It might be too late now because everyone has supervisors, but you'll be around next year (i'm guessing)
I am having something of a solo carb-up Not many carbs though, since there's no point opening a new packet of pasta when this is the last night I could possibly be cooking.

Pffft - you're like the guys I was carbing up with. I ate my way through more than both of them put together. Besides, aren't you sticking around for rowing camp?
Soooo, in the interests of research: which Cambridge musical groups are good? Who have you heard at balls before who went down well?
Are you on your mayball/june event committee by any chance? The Ellafunks from King's are pretty damn good (their lead singer was in the queen's nose when she was younger)
Oooh Andy, any chance you can check my pidge tomorrow? I've applied for Carols tickets and have heard nothing! Am not back in Cam until tomorrow night but they're for a friend who needs to know tomorrow

yeah I'll try to remember- I'll send you a PM/fb as soon as I know You not mingling tomorrow night then? Jigglypuff's back
Grr, it's really annoying to organise things when someone senior gives you certain instructions, then other more senior people give you conflicting instructions. Do you go with what the more senior person (who you know less well) says and risk the wrath of the less senior person (but who you know better/rely on more)?

What's the context? I'd go with the option you prefer. If the other one complains, tell them that the other had told you to do what you're doing and you'd started it before they recommended the opposite.

Hmm, I wonder if I need to go on a diet for Christmas - just had home-made burgers for dinner, then went to Bop, then had ice cream (Ben and Jerry's ) at a friend's place, then cooked a second dinner back here at home. Good times.
