I'm bored. Any ideas as to what to do, given the constraint that it needs to be in my room and alone?

(I do have more of a life than the above suggests, but I can't go to the bop tonight because of rowing tomorrow, so am at a bit of a loose end.)

A good team carb-up?

I am having something of a solo carb-up Not many carbs though, since there's no point opening a new packet of pasta when this is the last night I could possibly be cooking.

Oooh Andy, any chance you can check my pidge tomorrow? I've applied for Carols tickets and have heard nothing! Am not back in Cam until tomorrow night but they're for a friend who needs to know tomorrow

Menage a Trio are really good. They played at Clare Open Mic and then at Caius tonight. Reeeeeally good.

I thought PhD students couldn't supervise until second year.

Different departments have different rules.

I did not handle a certain question well today:

"So, where are we, in terms of a relationship?"
Me: " ... I ... erm .... um ... we ... err?"

Grr, it's really annoying to organise things when someone senior gives you certain instructions, then other more senior people give you conflicting instructions. Do you go with what the more senior person (who you know less well) says and risk the wrath of the less senior person (but who you know better/rely on more)?

Are you on your mayball/june event committee by any chance? The Ellafunks from King's are pretty damn good (their lead singer was in the queen's nose when she was younger)
