Had to get back to the Queens' Building. I actually came out of Emmanuel House and ended up round the back somehow and was really scared, went round the library and up through South Court and then the back of Old Court, then turned round and went back round the front of Old Court and into Front Court and then someone found me and escorted me back!
Ok. Queen's building is a bit confusing. There's not really much of Peterhouse to get lost in, I found.
In honesty, that being the daily mail, I wouldn't be surprised if they got bored or desperate and rehashed the same story. Because I've heard this one several times now in different contexts and its getting a bit implausible now.
Happy Founders Day!! (that won't mean anything to you all as its King's' Founder rather than a uni wide thing, but the sentiments there) Why am I up this early after the mingle...
I'm really annoyed. I signed up to go to Oxford for a weekend as part of a christmas party/team meeting thing for a charity group I work for. Two of the four people going have now dropped out at the last minute. Meanwhile I arranged to stay overnight at my Uncle's and see another friend. But going is actually really inconvenient because of this essay!
And my department library is closed, and the only book I need for this essay was taken out of the UL and my college library! And its a key text for my dissertation and one that nobody touches during the year, but now they've removed for 5 weeks!
I'm so tempted to just splash out and buy £100 of books for my dissertation just to avoid this ongoing frustrating.

I am not expecting wonderful things, I must confess, but you never know
Well there are six types, from very small to the excessively large bass balalaika. I know some good websites if you're interested in chord diagrams and other things ...
I need to pack my things; however, I don't have anything to pack them in. Hmm

Are there any books I could help with? I've got free reign in Caius library now, so would gladly extricate some books from there for you ...
I'm fairly sure we should have got an email panicking about it by now.. They were pretty quick with the union stuff last year..
Trinity BA society sent round an email last night warning us about the condom thing, so maybe only certain colleges got the possibly sabotaged batches?
