Is that the Master's doing?
No idea. But Fluid Dynamics is "compulsory" while Electromagnetism isn't...
Could one of the Mod types round here merge this thread into the king's college thread please; it seems stupid having it separately in the main forum. thanks :smile:

grrr- i wish diuretics would just go away; i've done the reading and made note and even started the essay but i've suddenly lost all motivation to continue...

Did you guys get emails when you got your offers last year/year before? Only my brother doesn't yet have a letter, and a lot of TSR seems to.

No email. I also got mine two days later than everyone else (admittedly I was overseas, but other Guernseyish people got them before me)

I feel for your brother though, I remember how awful the day I didn't get my letter was. (Definitely the worst bit of the process)

I got a letter and I'm pretty certain I didn't get an email, though it may well have changed. My letter was on time (though my dad didn't tell me about it, so I was getting a bit worried).

He is one of the best lecturers on MVST, without a doubt. I think I actually *understood* renal physiology for a few weeks back then.

The diuretic stuff will come to you eventually. I guess you need to understand some of the physiology first though...

Wow. What did you do/say to piss the guys at the garage off?? :eek:

Nothing :frown:

It was at the Ford garage. The car was due a service so I decided to get it serviced and MOTd together to save me some time. I usually get it done once a year, and do a mini-service after 6 months (just the filters and oil, spark plugs ocassionally) but didn't have time for a professional service last year so this was overdue. The receipt suggests that the added cost was "only" ~£150 plus VAT, with labour being £70. Still, the entire process has cost me £350 plus £150 for my tax disc. That £150 was earmarked for more important things, like, umm, my elective.

I :snow::snow::snow::snow::snow::snow::snow: hate garages.

I would agree, although being from Emma I would!

My supervisor last term helped research that, there was a lot of giggling at the collaborators' meeting we had with some German colleagues :p:

I'm curious as to how one would design an appropriate research protocol for that one...

Gotta agree with you he distils it all nicely on the whole so I pretty much get the material, theres only one or two point i need my supervisor to clear up for me. Its just after three hours on the same few pages of notes I was getting a bit tired of it all! However after a bracing (read freezing) walk to sainsburys I'm feeling refreshed and ready to soldier on (seeing as the bar is shut there is little else to do :p: )
I have just finished reading over an essay I wrote on different shapes of action potentials. It has to be, by far, the worst essay I have wrote. I really just didn't know what to write and how to write it. Really did not like the queastion... I feel I am going to have some explaining to do to my supervisor :sadnod:
i have one essay left and 4 days left to do it in. i can guarantee i will somehow only manage to finish it a only few hours before the deadline.
