your facilitating was very much appreciated though thanks

haha thanks . Your group was awesome and actually talked to me...:p:

MW, the other student and I were chatting afterwards and were wondering what you guys thought about having more interaction with clinical students. Stuuff like mini-supervisions helping link pre-clinical with clinical and maybe going over examinations. What do you (and the other kingsfolk?) think? We could make it a college based thing at first?

I have never heard of a Burn's night before :s-smilie:

It's an excuse for Scots to wear skirts, hockey socks and hairy-cock-bags.

Want to try on the cock bag one day?
Athena
It was invented by the sentimental Victorian Scottish poet Robert Burns

*waits to be hunted down by Werlop*

He wasn't Victorian... the rest maybe, but we should celebrate that.

I'm a pacifist, I don't hunt people down.

There's some sort of Burn's night thing here too at some time this week. I'll never quite understand the fascination english people have with pretending to be scottish.

It's because they realise that the Scots are in all ways superior, so they try to emulate us

To be honest, I'm rather jealous:tongue: My "national" dress, if I can actually associate with a particular nation, is rather dull in comparison.

Yes, you're right! The chipshop near my GP in Ipswich now sells deep fried mars bars

Well there was that lovely evening we all shared in Papworth. You could have asked then
Athena
Is there even English national dress?!

Black / white tie?
Oh dear. Exam today, given one hour to write two essays and ended up writing a paragraph(!) for each. To be fair, I was only informed about the exam yesterday and haven't touched the subject in six weeks.

It's two weeks away. :s-smilie:

My notion of time is a bit skewed at the moment, but I did think it seemed a bit early for a Burns dinner...

Hmm, my scalp seems to be bleeding quite profusely.

Are you OK?

Ja thanks. It's now under control with a little pressure and ice. I think it was an insect bite I must have acquired in India. I absent mindedly scratched it, and there was blood everywhere.
I think its worrying how little I know for this test tomorrow! Dammit why did I go to that party last night!

Look, I've told you multiple times - THE TEST DOESN'T MATTER. There. Happy now? :p:

BTW it looks like I'm going Cindies tomorrow night so might see you there.

I am sorry but I am getting really stressed out. I think its just me though. I will feel so bad if it goes horribly.

On the plus side my plan has worked out. The surprise party is all set and hopefully the person will like it. The better anyways... its cost me a fortune. And yeah I will see you there hopefully
Ok I think I might go to the bar. Some alcohol might calm me down... good thing I don't have any bottles of whiskey about at the minute
