I still have £15 or so of my Fitzbillies voucher left! It needs to be spent by the end of October. I would be happy to use it for TSR purposes
TSR Fitzbillies meet anyone?
I've not had one of their rum truffles (which are ) for ages. Talking of delightful delicacies though, a girl at work has made a delicious blackberry cobbler - a kind of gooey cake, and its sitting far too close to me! I've managed to limit myself to two pieces this morning, but its only 11 or so, and I'm here til 5!

Sorry That entry was for postgraduate Camchatters. Alumni are just off the map
pfft! I am an academic! And James will hopefully be a postgrad next year.
Am I a camchatter, postgrad or just an old bastard?
You're still a student, but I suppose your level counts as postgrad. Still... its really rather sneaky. You can't just climb the level to the postgrad rung by starting a 7 year course I think you're somewhere in between the two
pfft! I work for a organisation strongly connected to the university. James will hopefully be a postgrad next year though.
How are plans shaping up right now?
I think your phone made you miss my question yesterday: Are you watching (have you watched) the meteor shower? Wicken Fen was in the paper as one of the top 7 viewing locations. If you haven't, I'm tempted to come to the duck tonight to see

They aren't yet though Still... scarlet ibis is special. Being an academic/research assistant is probably several dots higher on the scale
re the meteors A friend of ours did see a couple the other night. I was too sleepy to stay out looking, but yes, if the sky's clear it would be an excellent place to watch. We'll not be home til after rowing/erging though, at about 10:30 (getting the 10:10 train home). You'd be welcome to stay over if you think you could cope with sleeping on the sofa!

Lol don't worry about it! If I do come up, it should be sometime when you've both got time for socialising
I have the worst cough in the universe. Seriously.
You get everywhere, don't you
We went to the YHA at Holyhead and Llanberis. The first was awesome, the second was utterly dire Have you been? We thought we'd dispatch you to sort them out.
Well i don't know, why do basements not have decent headroom? Do you know what the sound insulation is like in Fitz St? I got complaints last year...
Sound insulation throughout all of college is dire. If you like you can go for Tennis Court Terrace. Its almost always half empty because nobody wants it. If its sufficiently empty then perhaps you'd be able to choose a room seperated by your housemates by an empty floor The downsides are living in TCT. There's nothing wrong with it. Its just bog standard boring college accommodation with nothing particularly nice about it. Its as well situated as Fitz street, but Fitz at least looks nice.

Nope, been to very few YHAs in Wales actually. Most of my hostelling has been in the Lakes.
