Anyone study at the Hawkshead campus of RVC???

Hiya!

Just wondering if anyone here is studying at the hawkshead campus of RVC, or if they have seen the accommodation there.

I've got my accommodation form through (finally!) and now i am stuck as to which to chose. If anyone has any info on the college close or odiham hall and what they are like, it would be very much appreciated!!

Also any info on what it is like living at hawkshead would be good, as i'm hoping to do the veterinary nursing course which is based just at hawkshead.

Ta very much!!
I'm going to apply for that course to start in 2007!! I live about a 5 minute walk from the campus, and apparently (when I went for the open day last Saturday) is mostly catered, and I didn't hear people complaining about it. But that's about all I know, sorry!
I dnt go to the vet collage, but i live in hawkshead road, potters bar is a bit of a rubbish place to live, nothing really happens, but it's closeish to london which is cool, i've heard all good stuff from the RVC, n there are regular shuttle buses and stuff which go to and from there to other random places.

There was a new block added like last year, i think it was halls of residence and looks pretty swish!
I went to RVC for a Summer school last year. I got to stay in a house, I think it was in College Grove or something... and it was really nice. There's room for 5 in most of them, and it was clean and big etc. Some of the other rooms though, the single rooms, were pure skank. I know you didn't ask about the Camden campus, but they were just as bad. I guess I was just lucky!! I'd DEFINITELY find the extra money to get a house asap if I could.

I'm not at Hawkshead, and haven't seen the accomodation, but I do live down the road (we're talking walking distance) from it. It's quite quiet, but the train station (probably 5/10 min walk) really is only about 20 mins/ half an hour from london, and you're 2mins from potters bar so u can get most places. Disconnected is right about their being little to do, BUT its nice and peaceful and pretty  and you are half an hour from london, partay central. Plus of course, you will be 5 minutes from my house! x
