Really not looking forward to the TSA. A book on critical thinking that I ordered off Amazon arrived today, so I've got something to help me prepare, although it probably isn't going to help much. 2 more weeks.... I'm applying to Balliol by the way
I'm the only one at my school, no-one last year. Two apprentices of mine next year... (Well, they needed advice and the teacher sent them to me)
I'm getting rather worried about the entire Brasenose business already, I know there are 9 places but I've met two people at the England Debating trials who were in the top 12 with me who are also applying there already, and obviously they're good
Mind you I guess it was expected at a debating thing, and especially at that level.... And I do love Brasenose...

If it makes you feel better, Scott on the Scottish Debating Team is applying to Brasenose for Law, he was originally going for PPE though, so that's one less to compete with.
Is Jen applying there? I knew she was going for PPE but I don't know the college.
http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/PPE_at_Oxford#Interviews <- Here it is written about some PPE-test I should do. Is it supposed to be at Oxford (if I was got an interview) or is it the same test I sign up for in my British Council (on 5th November)? I'd like to know if I should be prepared for any other tests than the one I take on 5th Nov in the BC in my city (I'm not from the UK).

Because it has been moved to the previous page, my post can be unnoticed. If such reminder is against the forum rules, I'm sorry, but I really care the answer.

As far as I know, its the same test.
PPE applicants only have to take the TSA as far as my knowledge stretches. And the TSA is on the 5th November.
Thanks. I'm already signed up for it, everything is paid, so I will take the the TSA on the 5th Nov.
pinkpenguin The same question as from Virginia. Already got an offer? When have you sent off the application? I have applied the York (PPE) too and I still wait for acknowledgement...
And yes I view it as directly relevant in terms of it being where all 3 disciplines are discussed and applied in debate and discussion. I can't see an activity being much more relevant.
But then again I wouldn't expect it to make much difference unless I was directly tied with another candidate...
