Dilemma though....Drop French or Economics?? Would again really appreciate your opinions. So would be doing either Maths, R.S, Economics and English lit or Maths, R.S, French and English lit tough call haha x
They could question why you would drop economics when applying for PPE. However, it is PPE and not Economics. And more importantly, you are not required to have studied it at all if you are applying. French is also a major language spoken in France, parts of Africa, and many international organizations and corporations - I would keep French.

No ****
Sorry, just a tad obvious.
Keep Economics - I don't really see how, if it is one of the three subjects (PP&E) you're most interested in (which I would have thought is fair to assume), you wouldn't want to study it as much as possible. Unless this is a ridiculous 'French is more respected than Economics and therefore I should study it' idea.
Has anyone has PPE interview offers yet? PPE seems to be some of the earliest interviews and yet I can't find anyone who has been offered an interview (or been rejected, for that matter).
'French is more respected than Economics and therefore I should study it'.
Is it? People always seem to be quite 'oh that's sounds dull and difficult' (which of course it's not, it's wonderful) to economics...it goes in the same list as french on the trinity college cambridge website (which is quite good for seeing what the universities actually think about what subjects)...tend to get more 'oh that's nice' (doss subject alert) to Psychology! (which is fair enough, it is pretty easy- lots of memorising, no intellegence needed type a-level)
I just got a phone-call. i got an interview for ppe. it'll be a video conference cos im internation (yeah, that isnt daunting at all). anyway, WOOHOO!!

TBH I would agree with this - you wanna study PPE so given the choice surely you would wanna study some of the components at least?
I also found having done Economics very useful for the interview - politics and philosophy I found a bit easier to pick up just from some extra reading

Yay, gratz . Do you know when you are going to do it?
