Well the person recieved a phone call telling them about their offer so I'm assuming the losers like myself are going to get a letter rejecting us.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH
Fortification
Slightly awkward yes! But my college seems to be sending letters so I'm blaming the post. What I'm more concerned about is that the letter should come tomorrow right into the hands of my extremely-anxious-yet-ridiculously-overconfident mother. Yikes.

Don't worry ... Track would get updated anyway ... Check it regularly ...

Prach_pan> If you don't mind me asking, when did you hear from Warwick (and how long ago did you submit your app)?

The offer letter was marked 9 November 2007, but arrived at my house around mid november. No acknowledgement or welcome letter.

I submitted my application about 13 October (2-3 days before the Oxbridge deadline).

30 November, right before I left to Oxford interviews, which didn't exactly do wonders for my interview performance. (Spent the whole night browsing LSE modules and googling pictures of London.)
and this is my first decision.

i'm also waiting around for a decision from LSE, but it will most likely be another rejection coming my way unless they don't mind that my PS was written entirely with PPE in my mind.

Budgie, who were you btw?
Sorry to hear about the rejections guys. I will most likely be joining you soon.

Damm it... I'm still waiting for mine, oh well ... thanks for the info!
I got rejected from New College today. :frown: . I'm pretty gutted.
Us TSR people are being knocked back quickly. We've had, what, two offers so far?

Nono, if you check the official offers thread you'll see that there have been lots of PPE offers (from all the lurkers lol), so don't get pessimistic just yet! Best of luck everyone!

Oh god, what am I still doing on the PPE thread, I already turned it down for E&M. Old habits die hard, I guess.

My name's Henry - I was in Longwall Street. I feel a bit guilty; I didn't mix with many people beyond those in the room near mine, so only remember ~10 other PPE applicants. Didn't stay long at the PPE party either because I was meeting my friends from Salisbury! If you were on the same trip up the tower with me, I'm the one whose phone kept ringing....

Might've met you though?

Quite surprised about this. I always imagined the offer % for TSR members would be way above the average, as hanging out in the PPE thread for months shows commitment!

But commitment doesn't necessarily mean getting in (unfortunately:rolleyes: )
