I really try my best to start of every academic year as a new me, but it never works out because I don't make myself attainable goals and targets.

I will try to brush up on fitness over the summer, solely because that'll be when I actually have time!

I don't think I ever asked you this, but what sports do you play? :smile:

Take up a new one which you find fun... Sports are the ultimate way of getting fit for me cos I find them fun :biggrin: Unlike simply working out:frown:

I start uni this september and basically im really unfit and so i figure between now and then i will try and get fit (fitness first here i come :frown: ) - anyone else trying to do the same? I wanna start Uni as a new me if that makes sense?

Well you see im kidding myself into starting this "new healthy fitness fanatic" me while Im actually at uni. My reasoning is that theres gonna be lots of sports facilities and anyways, im too busy revising (even though Im on this bloody website all the time :rolleyes: )

There was a day(Monday, where I only have double Computing in the morning and whole afternoon free), well I played basketball from break, 3rd lesson, lunch, 4th lesson, 5th lesson and after school basketball club. That was like 6 hours of basketball in 1 day!

I'd love to lay for Uni's bball team.

i love that idea, get fit for uni, then spend the first week drinking 10 pints a night and return to your previous self.

at university, not putting on weight is the challenge,
i would try to change your lifstyle to one you think you'll be able to maintain at uni.
