Of course you will, even wearing a T-shirt doesn't protect you from the sun so wearing thin tights will make hardly any difference to your tanning

Yeh you probably will, but possibly not to the same extent, at least i think so lol. What was the previous poster talking about? Yes its quite well known that you tan through a t-shirt lol.

Depends if your tights block UV or not. If they do, you won't tan, if they don't you will.

Lol I'm milk bottle pale at the moment and don't really like going out without tights as they give my legs a nicer skintone, will prob chance it today though.

Yeah, I was wearing tights the other day out in the sun (cuz of that age old 'im pale! i reflect the sun!' problem) and when I took them off my legs were nicely tanned! :cool:

don't see why you wouldn't tan through the tights, unless they have uv protection which i never heard of before for items of clothing

You probably can, but why wear them anyways? Tights are a nightmare in the heat so regardless of the state of your legs its just better to go without, chances are no one will notice if your legs aren't perfect :smile:

Yeah I've been trying to do that, legs tan worse than arms/shoulders though :frown:

You could always try a bit of fake tan, a (good) tan usually covers up problems on the legs and then you can go without tights until your legs have tanned by themselves.

And the Moomins are the greatest! :biggrin:
