I wasn't asked for ID anywhere in amsterdam and I don't know anyone who was.

My friend and I got served everywhere (supermarkets, shops, bars, coffee shops, clubs) when we were 14, so I really wouldn't worry if I were you.

Oh - and I wouldn't advise taking fake ID abroad (not that I'd condone it at all, obviously), what if they look through your bag at customs?!

I was ID'd in coffee shops last september, 20 at the time

sorry, can't remember where exactly but it definitely wasn't everywhere so if you get ID'd, move on elsewhere

I was in Amsterdam last May - didn't get ID'd at coffeeshops on entry, but did when actually buying the weed/brownies/whatever...

I took fake ID and it worked in Amsterdam - never had any problems with it on our whole Eurotrip actually.. tbh as long as it's well made and looks authentic, and you don't get caught with it you're fine.

if a fake id gets found at customs you can just say its a novelty item, they cant prove you've commited an offence or are going to

Fakes are not worth the plastic they're printed on

Do you get asked for ID on entry to coffe shop if you look about 18. if not what coffe shop was it? also what fake id works. can i only have answers from people with first hand experience from within the last year.

I go regularly and most good coffee shops that are worth you spending your money in will ask for ID when your buying unless of course your blatently over 18 and they wont accept anything less than a passport or full european driving license.

Hey, I'm goin to amsterdam with my friends this year and some of us are 18 and some 17. If you've already been then did a fake ID work or did you even get ID'd at all? I'm 17 and my ID says I'm 18, it's an NUS card and says "International Student Identity Card" on it with a picture and is actually a valid ID from the website just with a different age. Will this suffice?
Thanks

From personal experience, I would say that about half of the coffeeshops ID you and the other half doesn't.

Where did you get the id from

Completely false, I've never been refused service using one
