Nothing wrong with them. The fact you're jealous of their money just shows how much of a loser you are.
Whose money is it anyway? I'm richer than most of the 'Rahs' at Durham because:
1. It's my own money that I have saved from working full time for a few years. 2. I do not buy into fashion so I save money from refusing to buy extortionately priced clothing whether it's Nike, Jack Wills or any other brand (except my clubbing gear, which is partly handmade). 3. Because their clothes are expensive they're not as rich as you probably think they are. My ex-neighbour in my corridor in college/Halls would be classified as a Rah but she's really nice to speak to and guess what? She had no money! 4. I rarely drink alcohol so that's a nice little saver too. The weather makes me ill enough without the need to get drunk too. 5. I'd have more money if I didn't had to buy a new laptop and constantly upgrade my desktop.
Wow. A lot of people are diving all over me at the moment.
Let me explain: I'm just a little sick of people slagging off every 'half-popular' stereotype, be it 'rahs' or any other social group. It just pisses me off and seeing this thread just kind of annoyed me a little. I'm aware now that the OP didn't intend it to be malicious, therefore I apologise for being rude. However the fact that most people that slag off 'rahs' are people that quite frankly aren't open minded enough to just consider maybe it's them, maybe they're the dickheads? I don't know whether it's because they feel intimidated or otherwise, but if you just go up and talk to one.. you'll find out that they actually don't bite. From my experience, they're very easy people to talk to and the fact you aren't even putting in any effort just shows how sociable you are.

Sorry.. I do realise I'm not directly replying to you, I just wanted you to read my response above. I'm not having a go at people who have justifiable reasons why they don't like them. That's none of my business, obviously.
Rich, wear vintage clothing and MASSIVE sunglasses, often around the South Kensington area sipping Starbucks etc. Perhaps pay a visit to the country home on the weekends for horse riding.
TSR gets far too keen over rah girls, I think secretly a lot of girls on here aspire to be rahs, that's how it seems anyway.
Get a life. You seem to spot rahs as some kind of evil menace in a university... How would all the poor people like it if the Rahs classed anyone who isn't from private school to be a commoner or chav? Some people are just ridiculously ignorant.

A so called 'rah' from my choir once asked me what school I went to. So I told her. She hadn't heard of it so I mentioned she probably wouldn't have because it was a small state school in a rural area. And she said, 'What, so a chav school then?'
Having said that, I'm sure if you give them a chance some of them are bound to be quite nice, just like some people from all stereotypes. The one thing that always confuses me though is why they like to do their hair as if they haven't!

In what way have I attached them to be an evil menance in a university? And yes, I am ignorant on the whole subject, that's why i asked. Coming from a state school, privately educated students have always been stereotyped, and not once have I actually stereotyped anybody, I've actually come to be quite open minded about it. I may have been wrong in classing them as 'Rahs' so sorry for that, it would probably have been better if I just said rich students. Stereotypes are a very powerful thing, so I was just asking whether they were true or not, otherwise i wouldn't have asked. Sorry If i have offended you, but you'd understand if you weren't coming from a privilleged background (like myself), where most of your friends are either locked up in prison or doing some form of crime.
