Harrow School, expensive though. If you're a girl, North London Collegiate. That's all I know of.
are u applying for this september? most grammar schools have already passed their deadline for application =/

^^the schools above are private lol.
There aren't many grammar schools in those areas, only Henrietta Barnett and St Michael's (catholic) and Latymer (but thats more East london) - there aren't actually many in london at all tbh! If ur a guy, which im guessing you're not there's QE boys.
There's quite a few in the south though? or you could check out some sixth form colleges like St. Dom's (I might be boing there next year  )

I would say very few at this late stage. Some may be able to offer you a place at the end of the waiting list. How comes you didnt sort this out earlier OP?

There's one in Slough, I think there's a bus that leaves from Southall in the morning. Oh, and there's Haberdashers but I don't know where that is.

umm.... no, sorry I don't know any grammar schools that are stll accepting late applications. :frown:

They tend to be oversuscribed and probably already have waiting lists. You could try though, but if anyone rejects a place it would most likely go to the waiting list people who applied before the deadline.

Tbh though there's only something like 13 grammar schools in london anyway, and some of them are for boys as well! I understand ur pain though =/

You could try this, it might help http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Grammar_schools_in_London

let me know how it goes =) or you might be able to apply to some sixth form colleges still.

There's 5 in/around Slough, which means they're all pretty mediocre as grammar schools go - the pass mark is around 111 but the one I went to was accepting people with 103 on appeal. Don't go thar
Oratory, think its in central London.

Watford grammars are not proper grammar schools. They havn't been for many many years. They take a small percentage on a entrance exam 25% and 10% on music the rest of places are siblings and distance. Good schools but not as academic as london true grammars as watford schools have a wide range of abilities.
