I met this girl once, she wasn't physically attractive in the slightest but she was probably the funniest person i've ever met. She gradually became more attractive because of her sense of humour.

Personally girls become more attractive the more i like their personality.

For example the girl who I had unrequited love with I thought was the most beautiful girl in the world until she turned out to be a right cow and looking at same pics I think what on Earth did I see in her?

And another: the girl I now think is the nicest most amazing and gorgeous girl I didn't think that much of her when we met and even then not until we really starting to get to know each other.

lol Ive fancied quite a few girls who didnt fit my normal perceptions of attractiveness, quite weird. Like i fancied them just as much as pretty girls but just knew they were not as attractive

the question would better off being Have you ever fancied a girl OTHERS thought was ugly?

Because, tbh, it is a bit paradoxical if you thought she was ugly yet still fancied her; normally one is attracted to someone you find pleasing to the eye.

yeah that's exactly it. You still know they're not beautiful but that doesn't seem to make any difference

I was at the chelsea flower show and there was this girl selling lights at this stall, I was looking at them talked about them with her then I walked off to think about them. I then went back to buy a set of lights, which she persuaded me to buy; I really liked her, so I came back and asked If I could quote her name if i wanted to buy anything else from the company, however she gave me somebodys elses name.
Just thought I would say this as I really liked this girl and woudl love to ahve known her name so i coudl find her on facebook or something. :frown:

Well, I have fancied a few guys who I look back and think 'what on EARTH was I thinking!' Haha, but yeah, usually attracted more to personality, attitude, general demeanour etc...helps if they're very sociable.
