I don't see those as particularly bad teeth, though if you are self concious about them and something can be done then that is fine. I have had braces twice and when I had them off the second time I was very happy with the result (I do have to have a thin wire behind my upper teeth for life but it is worth it)

The problem I have is with my overbite. The only option for fixing that however is surgery and despite my insecurities over my smile I am not keen on having the shape of my lower jaw and chin dramatically altered...

If you feel the need to, I think that getting braces is a good idea. They really aren't embarassing as many people make out, infact among my school and other people I knew throughout being a teenager having braces tends to be the norm. Be grateful that you wouldn't need surgery to get them right!
