more confused than ever now

last wkend this guy & i were flirting. neways he came to my leavers ball last night & needless to say he initiated the flirting pretty quick & we pulled several times & when we werent dancing i was sitting on his lap being quite touchy feely. neways i know that previous to the ball he said to his friends that he liked me & some random at their school even thought we were going to the ball together. but an hour before the end, i dont know what happened but he suddenly totally gave me the cold shoulder, i would go over to our table & he would walk away. (at one point he did sit down though complaining of a headache & looked a bit peaky). at the end of the ball he didnt ask me for my mobile no (so i cant contact him at all) & we just hugged, but as we were leaving he did put his arm rnd me again.

i'm soo v confused, what does this mean suddenly going from hot to cold? also should i talk to his friend (who i'm quite close to) about whether he knows what happened? my girl friends say dont chase him just subtly find out from his mates what went wrong.

If you really like him, then you should do something about it...then at least you would know for definite if he likes you as well- and if he does then great , if not, then at least you'd know and could try to get him out of your mind....so it probably is worth talking to his friend, or even better getting his number from his friend, and finding out what's really going on.

Just talk with him. You may have been reading too much into his actions, or he may well have just been confused/drunk himself.
