    i just got a letter from school regarding my book return day. blah blah needed to return books or i wont get my A level results. but the date they gave was the 13th august, not the 20th which i thought it was?

    is this a mistake? are all schools the same?
    someone rang to check and someone said it was on the 13th?:woo:

    Schools/colleges get them on 13th (electronically?)

    We SHOULD get them on the 20th - that's the offical date when we get the paper slip things.

    I've always been told it was August 20th, even though that's ridiculously late if you ask me.

    Results Day is definitely the 20th, our school made the same mistake as it's normally the 2nd Thursday in August but it's been changed this year to allow them more time.

    A2 is the 20th.
    GCSE = 27th.

    AS and A2 results day will be on Thursday 20th August this year I'm afraid your school has got it wrong. As for the EDI results, they won't be available to schools until the 19th of August.

    AS is the 20th too, at least it is for my college in Bournemouth and the same for my cousins in London

    Schools get your results the day before results day and universities receive them on the Monday before results day. They certainly do not receive electronic copies a week before like in January.

    i clarified with the school and apparently the lady doing the letters had been given the wrong information, so it is the 20th!
