Fixed weight barbell watch

    It may be a silly question and I am sure I know the answer but...

    The fixed weight barbells you find in the gym - where it says, for example, on each end '30kg' does this mean that it weighs 30 or 60 (+weight of the bar)? 99% sure that it means 30, but thought I'd check!

    I means 90 in that instance. Add either end + the weight of the bar which is almost always 30.

    If it says 30 on each side, its probably 30. If you can bicep curl it its prob 30 (or get close). If its 60 I doubt you'll be able to.
