Just curious, have my PRTC next week. Is the fitness test on a strictly pass / fail basis, or is it a gauge of effort? i.e if someone failed the 9.1 on the beep test would you have to retake before your 9 week training.

I believe that as long as you pass the general fitness test of running 1.5 miles, you're in no matter how you do at PRTC, but you will need to pass the fitness test by day 50 of RTC, I believe. If I am incorrect I am sure someone will correct me shortly!

To be honest though, with the time you've had up until PRTC, you should be at a stage where you can easily pass the bleep test, let alone the push ups and sit ups etc.

Aye, wont be a prob passing it just clears a few nerves with it not being another 'pass or fail' kinda thing

If you know you're at a stage where you can pass it, then you have no need to worry
