An Updated Update!

posted on here a while ago re: a couple of girls that I got emails from and the problems I had getting them out. Got pretty much lambasted on here for not phoning them and I haven't got an email since!

HOwever, the 2 that I got emails from are ongoing as follows:

1. The first claims she hasn't read her email yet and has exams. I asked her whether I had any chance of getting her out for a drink the next week afterwards. She said ...maybe?

2. The second - I get sporadic emails. I pretty much got fed up of it going nowhere, so sent one final mail, pretty much asking 'how do I get you out' and laying it on the line - all or nothing etc... no response - then 2 weeks later a mail asking how I was etc - but ignoring my intentions.

What is going on?

To be honest, and this is only my personal opinion, neither of them sound that interested. In the future, get numbers not emails. Comes across a bit geeky :P

The second one is weird. I reckon she likes the attention but doesn't want it to go any further, or didn't like being given an ultimatum. In which case, you'd've thought she'd have just ignored you. But she's a girl. We're confusing :smile:

First one doesn't sound at all interested tbh. Sure, she's probably got revision, etc, but what student doesn't use every excuse possible to avoid it?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.

I don't think they're romantically interested.

My thoughts exactly with no. 1. Besides, I like her colleague who unfortunaely has a guy but she's a good flirt and that's fun for the short term.

No. 2 - I'm a bit baffled by. I've given her every opportunity to either date me or blow me out. She consistently doesn't do either and it frustrates me like mad. She's either shy or enjoying the attention. Question is how do I get a definitve yes or no out of her? I've delibrately been cocky, a tad arrogant and then blunt as hell but none of them appear to get a yes or a no. Just more of the same...
