I had an amount of money about a week ago from a company called CNP - which I found out from phoning my bank was Compensation Network Protection.

Anyway they said it's legit and nothing else really.

Does anyone know why I would get a sum of money from this company, I havn't been in any accidents or claimed for anything.. ?

If you spend it, and then it later turns out to be a mistake, you will have to pay it back.

People don't just give you money for no reason, so it's likely to have been accidental (if you really can't think why they would give it to you)

    LOL no Jackson concert tickets.

I thought at first it could be the emergency student tax they nicked from me whist working at the call centre.

But I didn't fill out any tax forms, asked them to so maybe they did it all idk..
