I ordered a 32GB one. The confirmation email from Amazon is sitting nice and comfortably in my inbox, but I'm just waiting for another one saying "er, nice try, but no".

Was just about to click confirm at £8 when the page refreshed and took me back to my basket with a note saying it was not available from that seller. Just my luck lol!

I ordered one. Thankfully it was saved in my basket at the 8.90 price... I risked the £15 delivery charge though....
If these orders go through judging from how many people have ordered that company will go broke

not really. I'd be ass-raped by unplanned overdraft.

Would you be able to sue the company, with the confirmation email, if they would charge you full price or send you a dysfunctional ipod?

I bought the 32GB one as well. Not expecting it to work, but at worst I waste a bit of time and at best I get a £13 iPod

No. But that wont happen. As was said, they will either sell it for the confirmed price, or send you an email saying the price has changed and asking you if you want to continue with the sale else it will be cancelled.

You can't sue them ffs lol.

I doubt it will go through. No matter what the contractual obligations are there are plenty of laws to protect the seller in mistakes like this. If they know about it and allow it to go through then it's a gesture of good will on their part, not because they're legally forced to. Judging by how big the price difference is and how many people have bought ipods in this thread alone (especially people who order several) I doubt they will go through with it.

I am curious as to whether they will send them though. Surely if it was a known mistake people should be getting their apology emails anytime now?
