need to get this done on my 306. i dont want to dish out on axle stands unless its absolutely necessary. i was thinking of simply removing the front tyres and jacking the car up, then removing the bolts and mounts. basically im asking if theres any other method. theres a section of grass on a higher level next to the drive where i could put the car and just get under as well.

any experiences and/or other info welcome

    thanks.

    Kerbs can be handy.

I've been using a heap of paving stones under the chassis rather than leaving it on a jack lately.

Don't stick your head under something only held up with a jack.

Support the car safely, or don't bother.
