Money tree = more sensible than betting £1000 on a big brother eviction because somebody on an Internet forum told me to. If I lost I think I may actually have to die.

Kris did end up going. Easiest money you'd ever make.

If your serious about investment, you should start investing in the stock market.

The key to picking companies is reading their portfolios and seeing if they have anything which will potentially make the shareholders disagree and sell their shares, such as a change of name like Abbey from Abbey National. That dropped the share price substancially.

If you find a suitable company with a lowish share price invest say £100 of your grand into it, by a suitable company I mean one with fairly low share price say 117p a share, but with a new product soon to be released or some positive publicity, it is all about knowledge hence why insiders make so much.

Even if the shares rise from 117p to 200p

You'd make quite alot if you bought say 100 shares, 83p share profit x 100 is £83.00

    so you'd have £183!

and if you invested the full grand into a few companies you could easily double your money but there are great risks and it's all about knowing when to hold on and when to get out, very ballsy stuff.
