Hey, I've just read in the prospectus that Edinburgh prefer no resits at A-level but will consider those who have done it. One question I have is this:

For the resits does it mean A2 level only, or (A2 and AS) together?

    Thank you in advance

The full A level... so you can resit modules at AS level during your A2 year, but once you've done your A2 year and your grades are finalised then they'd frown upon you resitting stuff in a 3rd year as then you'd be taking longer than normal to do your A levels, so it only makes sense that they ask for higher grades.

Cheers! Means I can breath a sigh of relief now as resat some January AS modules in the June Period.

Now to make sure this year I don't muck up as Edinburgh is definatly a place I want to apply to.
