Starbucks do have a knack of not getting back to you on applications. I think it should be a compulsary process to find out if you've been accepted, declined or the application is on hold etc..

I have always liked the idea of working at a starbucks myself.


they're not the only company to not get back to people regarding applications though. i've applied for countless jobs recentley where i've had no response whatsoever.

and most of the time, it depends a. on the manager and b. if we're recruiting. if we're not recruiting, i'll take the forms/cv's and mention that we're not looking, but if they want to leave the form or cv, we'll keep it on file and when we do start looking, it'll be in there for the manager's consideration.
