I use iTunes. And with all the music being DRM free thanks to the new version, I can use it on all my devices!

People generally don't want to buy off Itunes because they don't want to be part of the majority.

It probably offers the best range of songs, but you could equally get the same thing somewhere else for cheaper. Itunes is rather convenient though.

iTunes or Amazon MP3. I prefer the latter because it's quicker (iTunes is a behemoth on Windows PCs).

    Thanks that helped a lot.

So I have to check three different Web sites before I download a song... they should make a comparison Web site!
Haha yep... tbh amazon has a far bigger range of songs compared to the other two (ive found). amazon.com also have a huge range and include american songs etc

    Hey

They seem like my best options. :yep:

I really cba signing up to four or five different sites, so I'll probably go for Amazon and iTunes, and not Play.com, HMV or 7digital.

Expensive though I'd rather buy the 4th generation Ipod in purple; an Ipod touch would be nice though

If you accidentally delete music from iTunes, do you have to download it again (and pay again  )?

When you fill it with apps though...

Ahh I have a massive list of songs to get, but no doubt it will cost £100+.

Use napster's monthly subscription service and a bit of software like tunebite. From my, albeit cursory, investigation into its legality, it seems koshur.

I can't be bothered to check Amazon to see what it all adds up to. What is the 'average' price of a song on Amazon?

Amazon have the widest selection of digital downloads I've seen; significantly wider than iTunes or 7digital at least. I've found some extremely obscure stuff on there. Plus you can find some older albums for as little as £3. The only downside is you have to download their software to download the mp3s.
