So today I bought my first car, on a tight budget, a 1996 ford fiesta classic, 3 door. I'll be picking in up next friday. On the test drive i didnt remember seeing any radio, and just double checked the ad and it doesn't look like anything is listed. It's pretty no frills in that department.

I'm not overly gutted about no radio, but having somethin to hook up an ipod onto for longer journeys would be nice.

I've seen some cars have speakers in the doors, some have them connected to the shelf in the back. What would you reckon to this car? Would a place like halfords be able to install something?

I'm not trying to be a boy racer but i do like my music

Alpine I'll always give a heads-up, but maybe slightly dear for you in that you've bought a relatively old car, which won't even have sufficient speakers to collaborate with the Head Unit.

    On the other hand: http://www.caraudiodirect.biz/head-u...cde-103bt.html

This is very good and it also comes with built-in Bluetooth, which will mute the stereo upon an incoming/outgoing call.

I think - well worth the money for very good model and make.

yea just go 2 halfords and buy a headunit thing, ur car should have the required wires to fit it, and sum speakers which wont distort for the door and yeah if u want for the back shelf, although that requires wiring n stuf which can b a pain
