The protein shake that I usually have is by EAS, it's called Mass Factor (have to love the name, lol!) But it's really good. The only problem is that it's only available online (as far as I know) and I don't like to wait! Need to get another tub of protein shake and at my gym they are selling maxi Muscle products. Are they any good? Health wise and in terms of taste?

    Wallet-wise they're certainly not.

Go to GNC, I use mass-tech, I think thats one of the EAS family. Anyway EAS shakes are the best and Maxi Muscle is over rated over priced rubbish! If your wallet can't stretch to the shakes then consider making your own shakes with a smoothie maker. Im considering it and I've seen recipes with 1000 calories, protein, and none of the sugery addatives in shakes such as EAS. For example 1 cup of milk, 1 large banana chopped, 2 spoons of peanut butter, 1 maybe 2 scoops of protein powder. Blend and enjoy! Good luck

gnc sucks balls they are a rip off, and the same goes for maximuscle, though I am sure they have good quality stuff

Online isn't bad, order early and you can get it next day free delivery on many websites.

gnc is cheap if you get the gold card...costs £5 a year and you save 10% every time you go. I save about £5 every trip so it pays for itself straight away. Maxi Muscle is poor quality and the most nasty taste ever!

maximuscle are a fairly well respected brand - you can't knock them and say poor quality. Anything you buy on the high street will be far more expensive than on line. Bulkpowders.co.uk are excellent - just the core products and not mixed rubbish like the high street sells.

Maxi muscle are very expensive, but they have a lot going for them such as being the products the lions supposedly used

I guess advertising like that lets them get away with ridiculous prices

Completely overpriced. Best tasting shake I've found is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey
