Nobody knows, but why are you assuming it won't work out rather than assuming it will?
I'm not, I'm as serious about the relationship as he is. If I got pregnant now I would keep it, and if he proposed I would say yes in a heartbeat. It is just that I care about him enough that I'd hate for him to be stuck with that if anything did go wrong.

It certainly would. Not to mention the possible rapists you would attract. :zomg:
They wouldn't be rapists if you wanted them to rape you?

    Oh that makes more sense.

It was a silly thing to do. If it's a big tattoo it'd almost turn me off if I were a girl. If I were ever doing that it'd be a small one in an odd location which wasn't too visible.

It'd be for myself, not for the girl. Does it turn you off?

That's silly. Due to the chances that you could break up, I mean you say you aren't thinking about it and doubt it but 2 years down the line might not feel the same way. However, I'm pretty much against tattoos in general so I guess that may be why too.

Why have you got pics of the great man crying in your signature?

I don't think its too big, just on his right shoulder. Not visible unless he has his top off I guess.

It definately doesn't turn me off, its amazing to know he loves me that much, and I find (decent) tattoos hot anyway. I like really masculine looking guys with muscles and shaved heads and stuff, so I suppose it fits in with that.

Everyone saying its chavvy can do one, I wasn't asking for your opinion on that.

Even married people shouldn't get their SO's name tattooed.
Bad decision on his part, in many ways.

I've just looked at your profile pic and you look much better than I thought you would, what with having been a feminist at one point.

Anyway you're like 19 of course you're not going to be together forever. It was probably a slightly stupid thing to do but then he's young. Maybe he did it to see if he could score himself some anal.

I'm sure you'll get over it.

    I'm still a feminist!
What the hell did you think I was going to look like? lol
He doesn't have do anything to "score himself some anal".

I'd be tempted to dump the git just to show him how much of a silly goose he is.
Although my bf would never do something so criminally retarded untill he got his dream retarded tattoos (smashing pumpkins and arsenal) so untill then I can rest easily.

Oops, I misread your profile. What's a "sex-positive" feminist? I always thought you'd be fat or something, no offence. Guess I have a really negative image of what a feminist looks like from the ones I've seen in real life, or the hot ones I've seen didn't conform to my stereotype of how a feminist acts and didn't proclaim they were one so I assumed they weren't.

Basically I don't believe that sex equals opression and degradation of women.
I support sex workers who have made the informed decision to work in that field. I reject the view of sexual activity as somehow dirty or immoral, and I believe anything is ok as long as all parties concerned consent, and are old enough to make the decision.

The stereotype of the man hating dungaree wearing feminist is actually based radical seperatist feminists, who are by no means representative of all feminists. I'm sure they aren't actually all unattractive though.

I think a lot of women (and men) hold feminist beliefs without actually giving themselves that label, partly because of the negative connotations. It annoys me how the term has come to mean something bad to a lot of people when really it is a very positive thing.

    Who negged me?

    "Libertarian socialist yeah?

I don't think you know what either of those words mean, darling. Stick to the cooking and cleaning. "

Whoever you are, you are an absolute loser.

My boyfriend has just text me from Zante saying hes got a tattoo of my name.
He has spoken about getting it done before so it wasn't just a snap decision, but I'm still not sure it was a great idea. I can't see any reason why we would split up but you never know what is going to happen in the future, and we aren't that old (both 19). On one hand I think its a really lovely thing for him to do, but I can't help thinking that maybe it was a mistake and he will end up regretting it. Has anyone else on here done anything similar? What do people think about it?
I think I know who you are...

I would  if someone got my name tattooed on their person.
That's because having a tattoo saying "rape me" will not end well...
