I also saw The Pixies at V...and absolutely amazing it was too, even If I did end up on my own after leaving BRMC early to get a good spot.

The Pixies were probably the gig of my life, classic after classic, I ended up with a bunch of randoms and still had a great time, grinning at each at each other at the start of every song, and singing/screaming every word! Top stuff!

Though I was well pissed off they didn't play U-Mass

Thats strange i was left on my own after BRMC. Except i stayed for the whole set and my mates left half way through but i found them 2 songs into the Pixies set. I thought Muse were the best band by a huge mile. So i noticed your babyshambles name and i have to ask you. What do u think of new Libertines album????? I think its good but not better than Up the Bracket. Wots ur favourite song? Mines gotta be either Last Post on the Bugle or Arbeit Macht Frei or Cant Stand me now

I was right at the barrier for BRMC (got security to drag me over instead of going back through the crowd) but had allready gone by the time the bassist went into the crowd...but it was worth missing that for The Pixies, who were amazing. Muse were fantastic too, probably joint second favourite with The Strokes.

As for the new Libs album, I think it's fantastic, a definite grower, though not as good as UTB, I'd say my favourite song was 'What Became Of The Likely Lads' (which I think is gonna be the second single). 'What Katie Did', 'Can't Stand Me Now', and 'Music When The Lights Go Out' are the other standouts for me...

Yeah it is a wicked song.
I found it pretty damn hard to make a top 10, and I am sure that is not a true reflection at all of my top 10, just the top 10 for my current mood.
