I'm looking to go somewhere on holiday with my brother in September. It's got to be somewhere in Europe (and not the UK) and NOT Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium or France (as I've been there already).

Ideally a place with lots of cool things to see (buildings, parks, etc etc) and history but something with outdoorsy stuff (like natural beauty) would be ideal. Any ideas? I say Europe only because it's cheaper. Thanks.

Is there much to do in Spain apart from looking at buildings and stuff?

Thanks, but Poland has a lot of English hooliganism around and I'm not that interested. There are some cool buildings though.

Don't go to Poland unless you want a cheap piss up.

Go to Austria, Switzerland or Holland. All nice places with a good English speaking amount of people. The first two are maybe a bit more expensive. You also have the added benefit of being able to sample the darker side of Amsterdam if you choose to go there.

on the serious side.....iceland is pretty nice, on the other hand theres nothing much to do apart from the whole natural beauty thing.....

greece is really nice. Athens kinda sucks, but the islands are much better!
Or for that extra push Egypt should tick all the boxes

Half them places are in the countries the OP has already visited!

OP: How about Poland, it has a lovely place called Warsaw which has supposed to have some nice buildings and stuff to visit. Or what about Cyprus or Croatia?
