Anybody any suggestions? Doesn't even have to be that similar - I'm just looking for some interesting house/trance/techno that isn't overly cheesy/commercial, that I can listen to without wanting to gouge my eyes out. Either straightforward or more progressive/experimental stuff will do, I don't really care just so long as it meets that oh so subjective criterion of "good".

    What! I love SMD!

Erm David Guetta's previous album is pretty good, even if it is a bit commercial. Justice (electro house) and Massive Attack? Quite a big range there

I like Massive Attack but they're much more chillout. Don't like Justice and hate the one David Guetta song I've heard. Undecided on some of the Van Buuren and Tiesto stuff I've heard in the past but might give them more of a chance. I'll get onto the other recs now.

    Pryda - lift
Glenn morrison - no sudden moves
    Chicane -poppihola

All use a similar style to deadmau5 and sound good.
