Wow I haven't used this site in a while! :O
But yeah.. It's my 18th in september, and some of my friends are saying i should hire out a hall for a part-ay, but they're all still 17 so there would be no alcohol obviously, and i do have some 20 and older year olds friends, so they'd be drinking, and i don't think that's a good mix!
So i don't know what to do, i can't have a house party either, my parents wouldn't allowed that!

    Anyone got any ideas?

All the 18ths I've been to, the 17 year olds just drank anyway. I honestly don't see any way around the alcohol thing- people who want to drink and are old enough will do, and those who aren't old enough will either not drink or will try to at their own peril.

Your 17 year old friends wouldn't drink at your party? Seriously?

It is a private function so its perfectly legal.
Just pick a hall that knows that you will all want to drink.
