Pernod does the same thing. Having worked in an offlicense for a few years, these were always the two drinks known for this affect, and I think I remember someone saying something similar about the crystalisation thing.(Original post by viirkokka)
To all you naysayers, there is a drink that does this. You've probably heard of it.
It's called Absinthe. If it is "proper" Absinthe with enough of the wormwood ingredient, it crystallises in your stomach and when you drink the next day, you get drunk again.

There is an alcohol that crystallizes in your stomach, then when you drink something the next morning (like water), you get the experience of been drunk again without consuming anymore alcohol, but I don't know what it is called.

its ouzo! many a boozy night spent in the summer I did my A Levels turning into accidental boozy mornings. I swear to god I got hooked on orange juice as it was the only thing to quench my first before getting me lasho again haha

absinthe crystallizes in your stomach over a period of a few hours and water turns it back into a liquid so if you had enough the night before you can get pissed again
