There is no such thing as a lancastrian accent is there? I mean Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and Lancaster are all in Lancashire yet the accents are completely different.

Picking from the whole of the British Isles:

    Welsh, particularly Cardiff and Barry
Irish in general, it's all good
    Dooooor-saaaaaht. Piraty goodness. Yarr.
    Geordie
    Cockney in small quantities
    Glaswegian, ditto

Plus south-coast middle class. Which is what I speak. Queen's English, plz.

Despite what I said earlier about Irish, I have been thinking about this and have realised there is something unmistakeably sexy about general northern accents, like Manchester or Sheffield-esque. It just makes men sound more masculine. But I stand by Irish for women.

    Northern Irish girls
    Whitney bay is alright
    Welsh girls

I notice no one has mentioned cumbrian
According to my friend from Bradford, we're classed under the 'farmer accent' label

Personally I think that scouse and Irish accents are yummy, particularly on a hot guy. I also really like mild London accents or RP, they sounds lovely.
