There's a big difference between training in a dojo and fighting in the real world. Even black belts have been given a slap or two.

mate, this is mma we're talking about.

Mixed martial arts is still a controlled environment. I don't feel you are mature enough to understand my point.

Yous are mental, by all accounts, and I'm saying that with a rugby background!
    Everyone knows rugby's a pussie's sport  [/offtopic]

Chances are if you're feeling like punching them, they deserve it. So yes, I would punch the ****.

since i have been learning mma for 3 years now and karate for 8 years i think i can handle myself just fine. Thing is, i'll have to make it look absolutely necessary for me to defend myself.

No, i just dislike his general bullying of others and he is pissing me off by making all these snide comments about me being 'mr ufc' .
Thought he was calling you 'Mr. KFC' until I read it for a 5th time.

I'd say the fact that you do karate would be an argument against punching him, if anything. Karate is an art and with it comes responsibility, its not something to be taken away and used as a weapon. My boyfriend is a 5th dan and has been teaching karate for years and if any of his students spoke about punching someone he'd give them a serious telling off. Also, just because you reckon you're an expert doesnt mean you can't get hurt...my boyfriend got caught out yesterday in a karate comp and is currently undergoing surgery for a broken jaw!! So let that be a lesson to you

I would only punch someone if it was actually needed, like if someone is getting mugged by someone.
