    I'd have to agree with Stevie Ray Vaughn and Davy Graham as already suggested.

    I also think Mark Knopfler is fantastic, but to most people, if they've heard of him at all, he's just 'the guy from Dire Straits'. Shame really, because he's a great musician and composer.

    Still, he's far from being the only one, there are always bound to be musicians who don't get the acclaim they deserve, whilst others get arguably too much
