Right basically i've been going out with this girl for 2 months now , which doesn't sound very long but we're really close. now lately, as in the last few days, she's been acting really distant and its sorta leaving me to put all the effort in. like in conversation she'll just agree with me or nod and not really talk back. Now i know she has troubles at home and hasn't slept in a while, but i don't know how to ask about her problems without seeming pushy or whiney and i know she talks to her friends about these things and was wondering why not me. so basically if anyone has any advice it'd be much appreciated

Like you said 2 months is not very long, and from personal experience, however close you think you have gotten to that person, you really can't know a person very well in 8 weeks.
The fact she confides in her friend but not you says your relationship hasn't really gotten as deep as you think.
Let her know that you are there if she needs you, but give her time and space. If the feelings are mutual, she will eventually come around.
