I heard that to get a good college in Clearing List,
you gotta be real fast on the web because it's
usually overwhelmed by so many people.
And I also heard Clearing starts from 20th Aug or after..

The situation is that I have to wait till 20 Aug to hear from
the school where I missed my offer of. Also, for the case I can't get in,
I should be looking for a college in Clearing list and ask for
    a place...

What if I don't hear on the exact day and miss
    good colleges in Clearing list?
Do I have to anyway ask for a place in one of colleges in Clearing list
even if I haven't heard anything yet from the college I applied to?

    clearing has already started..

if your have not yet gotten "clearing status" then you cannot officially apply through clearing.

however, you are still able to call them up/email them (i did the latter.. planning on calling them up today) and ask about whether or not your qualifications are acceptable and if they will be putting their courses through clearing.

you can call them up 19th aug, the uni you missed your offer in. they should know by then. or call them up real early 20th....

    good luck
