    near Okehampton (so not very far!!)
    going on the first week of August and it's very much a sporty holiday... lots of me and my bruv playing tennis, badminton, archery, swimming etc etc

    and i could of course count my week at HMS Raleigh with cadets as a holiday... but no!

    Just back from 3 weeks in Japan. That was my holiday, it was amazing, and I now have 2 excruciatingly boring months ahead of me before uni starts again (trying and failing to find a job), although I'm going down to London for a weekend at the end of august so that's all right.

    I do it with Oxfam - http://www.oxfam.org.uk/get_involved...als/index.html - this year at Glastonbury and Latitude I was/am campaigning and doing the blue faces, stewarding (checking wristbands, directing crowds, stopping people walking through vehicle gates etc) at Womad and Bestival. Did it last year as well - it's really fun! But even though you get free entry, and a few meal vouchers, the costs of travel and festival food really add up. I dread to think what I would have spent on train tickets if I didn't have a railcard (bad enough with it!)...
