    Stewart Lee or Dylan Moran.

    Hands down

    Anyone that disagrees is wrong.
Dylan Moran, yes. Stewart Lee, no, his recent series was some of the worst comedy I've seen on TV, and it was on around the same time as Horne and Corden (which was the worst).

But if we have to stick with people who are actually alive, I love tons, specially Russell Howard, Ricky Gervais, Ed Byrne, Sean Locke... lots

No! Please don't say that!!! Trust me once you get used to his stye he's genius. You should see his DVD 41st best stand-up. It's as good as Moran's DVD's Monster and Like, Totally.

    Russell Howard.

"It's funny how you can't just appreciate the fact that you have an ice cold coke in your hand, and that it is freezing. You have to inflict it on loved ones *presses coke on face* - you don't do it with other stuff like BOILING SOUP IN YOUR EYEEEESSS! But cold drinks - MOTHER, cold Fanta to the knee!"

:awesome: I love Russell! (that was slightly adapted as I can't quite remember exactly how he said it :p:)

I'm going to see Bill Bailey in August, also. He's my number 1. He actually changed my outlook on life, he really did - I now always look for the comedy in every single situation. It cheers things up no end.
