Does your boyfriend know? He may be able to support you if you can work through it together it could make it alot easier, if you are honest and upfront about it. He is your boyfriend so he should and i expect support you in anyway he can.

He knows and is supportive, but I would still find it very embarrassing to perform any of my now rare binges in front of him.

If you really really can't avoid doing it for a week or so, just tell him that you need some time on your own for a few hours. But I would try not to do it at least for the holiday

Is it likely to get worse if you put so much emphasis on trying not to binge?

Obviously you have done well to get to where you are now, it sounds. But i would have thought stress will not help the situation much, try to relax it may be better when you get on the holiday and you may be fine.

If you are going to be there for a week and a binge is unavoidable, would your boyfriend be totally adverse to leaving you for abit to collect yourself?

I hope the holiday setting will only help my current condition and hopefully nothing will trigger it. Thanks for your help!!
