Cardio and Weight Training, Do's and Don'ts watch

    Hey, this summer i am planning on toning up a lot and finally getting a six pack. So I had the basic idea of running every morning mon-fri, then working out on mon, weds and fri. Each week i plan on upping my weights and the distance i run. But i am not sure whether i should still have protein shake after work out as I want to lose weight etc. It might be a stupid question but i just want to make sure before i start. Right now, I have some sort of definition on my top abs, but bottom there is nothing, need to lose a little around the waist, I plan on cutting my calories a bit aswell. Any advice?

    Do...cardio after resistance
    Do...check your BMR and slightly lower your cals to lose a bit of body fat
    Do...HIIT

    Don't...worry about protein shakes, my one for example is just 100cals (nothing basically)
