Definitely this. For a beginner, you should focus on the big lifts and eat properly and your lifts will shoot up. You can then look at assistance exercises if you hit a plateau or if you feel that there are certain areas where your strength is lagging relative to the rest of you.
What do you mean by eat properly?

Well, work from the outiside in starting with the largest knife and fork gradually getting smaller. Never talk with your mouthful and its rude to leave food on your plate.

    Hey guys,

I would like to know the best machines and exercises to do to increase the strength of triceps at gym.

I know benching helps but I can only bench between 35-40kg at the moment which ive been told is rubbish for a 17year-old?

    Much help and advice appreciated.

    Thanks
dips, tri-cep pull downs, kick backs, triangle press ups

skull crushers super setted with close grip bench helpd me immensely

Try resting on your fists, so the side with your thumb is pointing up; then have your legs straight resting on your toes as if you were doing a push up. You must discipline yourself in only using your triceps - not your chest. If you're strong you should manage 10 + .

They are clearly little vest boys who know nothing about strength training.

Diamond push ups are like squatting with the maxi pad: homo

Get you bench and overhead sorted and simply close grip benching hard and heavy will sort out triceps strength issues, do not do any form over overhead triceps or press down movement for strength, not necessary and very ineffective, strength comes from multi joint movers that hit the whole triceps with heavy weights, not gay cables or ****** bodyweight things that will mess up your wrists.

Someone who is just beginning to lift weights at his age will put on muscle/strength very easily. floor exercises are a great way to build up pound for pound strength. I have always maintained that free weights is superior to cable/machine because in balancing the weight you create micro trauma in the muscle, and smaller groups of muscle come into play.

Total balls, it is a way to build endurance and nothing more. Strength is build below 8 reps and with heavy compund movements not any variety of pressup
