HELP!!! Difficult job question.... watch

    • Thread Starter

I am preparing for my first job interview this wednesday. I applied for a sales assistant position with M & S. I am thinking of the most difficult questions that i may be asked...

If asked 'What could you bring to the company that we do not already have', how would you answer such question.

I would respond by saying that i would bring 'commitment in terms of my duty'. Judging from my answer it is evident that i am struggling, and time is running out

What about that you would go beyond what is expected of the role, to provide excellent customer service and would go out of your way to help customers have the best possible view of the company?

    A monkey could bring commitment....

Talk about the current economic climate and how its time to do things differently in order to maximise efficiency whilst minimising cost.
Personally I would chat about the position M&S is in....eg:Look at their financial results for the past 1-2 years and identify areas of improvement. EG:If sales are decreasing...its important to to keep loyal customers satisfied,in this market conveying value for money is of the utmost of importance in order to maintain and maybe even capitalise on market share.blah blah blah....just show them that your aware of the world and you can help implement change.
