    Or should I stay put and use the spray for sore throats I have? It is getting quite irritating now.

    Go to the doctors and they will give you some antibiotics and a doctors note gives you a useable reason to not do anything.

    The thing is, it is getting very irritating and I want it soothed fast really. The spray might not do much but I'll give it a shot first.

    If youve had it less than 24 hrs stay at home. It's also the precursor to swineflu.

    If youve had it longer go to the GP.

    It'll soothe it better quicker than not spraying and waiting to see a doctor. You can also try gargling with soluble aspirin.
