Hi, does anyone know where i could get a dexa scan for an accurate B/F % measurement, ideally Leeds, or anywhere in Yorkshire ?

    Thank you.

Why do you want a DEXA scan?

Go to your GP - but you'll have to have a good reason, DEXA scans aren't cheap and need to be backed up by a solid suspicion of a clinical diagnosis.

Why would you want one? I very much doubt you will get one on the NHS. One done privetly will cost you about 100 pounds. I am not going to advertise for private scaning companies but if you are intrested you can always google them.

Err, they'd do them to see if you're at risk of fractures from low bone density, not for bf management, they have quite a high x-ray output and you really shouldn't have one unless there is a pressing reason, no good doctor would do it just for body fat measurement.

Full DEXA scan that measure not only bone density but also fat % and muscle % and how many calories you should consume to lose weight. I am looking a place where I can get one done for me. It's for fitness related purposes that coach asked me to do for bodybuilding.
